Visiting Jorvik

What better place for a viking than the old centre of viking power? We found (fake) vikings, viking games and even viking beer at the Jorvik Viking Centre!

Hnefntafn (the king's table) - a game played in Scandinavia in the Middle Ages. The game is about a Viking king (in the middle) defending his castle.

New years eve in Norway

We made a late Pepperkakehus, which turned out better than last year's one:
The Pepperkakehus massacre 2009
Julestjerne - most homes have 1 or 10 of these during Christmas
Our new years eve tradition: turkey, Waldorf salad and vegetables
